Refinement, not reinvention.
I start with what is already working.
Natural fall, density, texture, grey, facial balance and the way you actually live with your hair all influence what I choose to change — and what I leave alone.
The aim is not a result that peaks at the salon mirror. It is hair that settles, moves and continues to make sense as it grows.
Cutting and colour considered together.
The consultation begins with how you want your hair to live, not simply with the service you booked. Shape, colour, condition and future maintenance are considered as parts of the same result.
The Shizen Cut
$150A haircut built around natural fall, density, movement and proportion. Weight is removed only where the shape needs it, so the hair can settle naturally and remain easy to live with.
The structure is decided from your hair in front of me rather than from a standard cutting pattern.
Colour Refinement Session
$200For existing colour that needs tone restored, regrowth softened or grey reconsidered rather than automatically covered. Formula and placement are chosen with your next appointment in mind.
Cut not included. Recommended when the shape is already working and the colour needs refinement.
Full Atelier Session
$300Colour and shape are considered as one design problem. The haircut informs the colour; the colour informs the haircut. One session to bring movement, tone and balance back into relationship.
Best when both the shape and the colour need attention at the same visit.
Every atelier service is finished with the treatment ritual I believe the hair needs to leave strong, soft and reflective, with take-home care chosen to support the result between visits.
Light and depth, only where they are needed.
Highlights are not added by default. I use them when light, contrast or depth will improve the relationship between the colour, the haircut and the way the hair will grow out.
The Veil
$300Fine, diffused highlights used when the overall canvas needs more light without obvious striping. Placement follows the fall of the hair so the result feels soft rather than imposed.
Chosen when the goal is quiet luminosity and a softer grow-out.
The Signature
$200Precise placement around the areas where light will best support facial balance and the haircut. The pattern is designed around your existing canvas rather than repeated as a standard face frame.
Chosen when a small amount of deliberate light will give the whole result more clarity.
The Shadow
$150Strategic depth through the interior or ends when colour has become too flat or too light. It restores contrast and anchors the shape without making the placement obvious.
Chosen when preserving or returning depth will make the colour feel more balanced.
Grey is not automatically a problem to solve.
Sometimes grey needs coverage. Sometimes it needs diffusion, dimension, tonal refinement or simply permission to remain.
The consultation starts with what will make the whole head of hair feel balanced, contemporary and recognisably yours — not with an assumption that every grey hair must disappear.
